The hop theme today is crafty anniversary.
I am SO excited! Not only do I get to support my best friend in her 1 year anniversary blogging, but I get to participate in my 1st blog hop! It's a pretty special day...so let's get started. The hop theme today is crafty anniversary.
Here is my first project:
I stamped the image on white paper and then matted it onto a light yellow. I printed "celebrate" on vellum and backed it with white paper before attaching it to the yellow card stock. Then I added rhinestones for dimension. I cut dark green cardstock to create the base layer of the card and made the right side a little wider so I could tear the paper for texture.
I used the same colors and techniques for the inside of the card. I printed the sentiments on vellum backed with white card stock, which was then matted to the yellow.
Here is my second project. I found some great Memento ink and HAD to try it on this project. I just love the colors! I was able to blend the dark teal with a light sea foam green. I think it really turned out great.
And for my final project, I had to throw in some of my favorite color. I couldn't help myself. Samantha will understand.
I started with a purple card base and stamped butterflies with a sliver ink. I added a paper strip and stamped a sentiment on a patterned paper that I had punched out. I attached that with pop dots.
I cut a cream page to fit inside the card, stamped it with the sentiment and another butterfuly. Then I used an edge punch on the base.
Here is an up close look at the details.
Blog Candy time!
